Stamped Concrete
Stamped concrete is performed to provide textures and patterns to any concrete surface. There are numerous different styles of stamping patterns and textures to choose from. Stamping is available in patterns that can resemble real stone, cobblestone, brick, slate, wood-decking and various other creative textures. Stamping of concrete occurs when the concrete is placed, using stamping mats. We are also able to add color to the concrete at placement. Just a few days after the concrete sets up, the concrete stamping will be sealed to ensure the longevity and durability of the decorative work.

Stained Concrete
Acid staining of concrete takes place through a chemical reaction that occurs when the stain is applied to the concrete, permanently changing the color of the concrete itself. This process can be done no sooner than three weeks after the concrete is placed but can be applied to any existing concrete flatwork. The appearance of the final product is a translucent, variegated, modeled look which is not uniform in color. This process is permanent and will never fade from UV rays or be washed away by the weather. Staining can be performed indoors as well as outdoors. The color selection of acid-staining is limited to natural colors including; tans, browns, reds, oranges, and black.
In addition to acid-staining HLC has the ability to do regular color staining which offers a full color-palette selection. Regular staining is similar to painting in that it imparts a pigment onto the concrete rather than a permanent, bonded, chemical-compound. It is not as durable as acid-staining and is typically used indoors where UV radiation is not a concern.

Integrally Colored Concrete
The simplest procedure for sprucing up a concrete slab is to add color to the mix before pouring the concrete. This process is called integral coloring and is available in an extensive range of colors. Because the color is actually mixed throughout the concrete, chipping and cracking will not affect the appearance of the finished product.

Exposed Aggregate
Exposed aggregate is a relatively unique process in which special pebble type aggregate is used. Prior to the concrete taking a final set the surface is washed to expose the aggregate below. After fully washed the surface is sealed with a durable concrete sealer to maintain the finish.
